Title: renault megane cc handbrake button

my sister has a renault megane cc and needs a new handbrake button, not sure why but she asked me if i could find her one, anyone know anywere that does it? its got the airplane throtle type handbrake (http://www.theaa.com/images/allaboutcars/testreports/2006002_Renault_Megane_detail.jpg)
anyone have any idea, tried ebay but that came up with nothing. apart from buying the whole hand brake for about 70 quid...

also tried googleing it but that didnt really come up with much

No but I can guarantee that it doesn't stay on or if it does it's a nightmare to release.  And that's why she's replacing it?

havent any idea, she just rang up and asked if i knew were to buy the button from and asked me if i could have a look around. was in a bit of a mood earlier so couldnt be arsed to talk and just said yeah and hungup with out asking whats wrong with it.

everything on google just takes me to megane owners clubs which i dont really want to join :D

Generally, theirs very little to go wrong with those things, the button just locks and releases the Pawl and Ratchet mechanism, I'd be inclined to investigate further, and eliminate poor maintenance, or damaged or poorly adjusted brakes or cables...

yeah thats what i was thinking, couldnt imagine the button brakeing, might pop around today and have a look see whats happend
