Title: New Golf V GTI standart audio system
Post by: Komix Boy on 16 May 2005, 22:33
Hi,

I have ordered my new GOLF V GTI and it will be in my hands in about a month. My question has to do with the audio system which I would like to remove and place my JVC. Is this possible? Is there an extra part in the market that makes the double space of the current system in to two? Does any body likes the original audio system?

I liked the standard stereo - which is pretty damn good as oe. However, I thought 'if the std is that good - just think how good the supadupa (soundpack) would be'.................

big mistake!

You can get an adaptor made of black ABS and this slots into where youre existing system was once you take it out.
It has a DIN slot for a aftermarket CD player and a slot for throwing money or whatever into. similar setup as whats in a Honda Civic type R standard........
