Title: Deposit Down for a Edition 35
Post by: The Shadow on 20 January 2012, 11:14
I am new to this forum so hi all! Having owned a GT Sport then a GTI Pirelli and now currently own a Focus RS MP350 which i have had from new for the last 18 months, i have decided to change so look i around and hey presto, i see the Edition 35 and so called a mate within a VW dealership to see what he can do for me. The call comes back that he has one in stock just in within the group which is unregistered and due to go on as a demo, so after some haggling with his boss we come to a deal and i have £500 down for collection 1st March (i can wait, only just!).
Look forward to being active member of this forum, car coming is-

apart from ACC, itis a must have for many as the ride will be pretty firm on 19" i bet!

still either get it now or wait couple of months and not get such a good deal

Be interested to hear your thoughts on the MP350, and don't worry, you don't have to needlessly slate it just because you're now on a VW forum.

Nice spec mate, I test drive an MP350 before I got my GTI, what a torque steering monster that was....

Welcome to the forums mate.

Yes Jim i've driven a mk5 GTI but not a mk6. The closest i've come to a mk6 is sitting in one in the showroom!!  ...enough to make me want to buy one tho!!

The MP350 is awesome power/torque wise, I have driven many performance cars and it's one of the reasons why I kept it so long. I feel the only real letdown was built quality, lots of rattles etc. Hopefully I will notice the difference when the new car comes in that department, I sure will miss the performance though.
