the car is 2004 vw bora 1.9tdi
soem days ago the screen was hit by a small stone chip on the motorway,there no immmediate damage to the screen,
but a few days later,there is large 6inch crack running across the screen :angry:
my car has rain sensor,and rear view mirror glued to the screen.
i am going to get my car insurance company to repalce the screen
are there any dos and dont's during the replacing process?

Post this in the garage forum, some people maybe able to help! Just cause its on a TDI doesn't mean you have to put in this section :smiley:

Don't do it yourself lol
The fitter should advise you not to drive for at least a couple of hours after the screen is fitted to ensure the bonding agent has gone off properly :smiley:
Other than that there's not much you need to do

As Rhys said nothing you can do. The windscreen fitter will know how to remove everything
