Title: Issues with C/L, interior lights and E/W
Post by: borostu82 on 19 January 2012, 09:54
Hi Guys,

I need some help, i found this forum when i was searching the internet regarding the issue i have with my electrics. I notice a few guys had similar problems to me but that was on a mk4

The problem is, my electric windows are not working no more, the central locking from the fob does not work no more and interior lights dont work either.

I dont know if this is related but i have had to change the tail light bulbs a few times recently too.

Can anyone help out?

Thanks

Stuart

I'd start by checking the fuses; its possible you might have blown one accidentally when changing the rear lights

I had a look at the C/L fuse last night quickly but it seemed fine. I cant see the E/L fuse so im guessing this may come under the C/L fuse. I will check the interior light fuse tonight but if thats the case im not sure why the E/W and C/L wouldnt work as they are on diff fuses

I have done some more searching and found that if i possible change the interior light fuse then this could fix the issue.

I will try this tonight:)
