hello folks, hope all are well.
Got couple minor probs with my Golf Mk 4 GTI T, rear passenger electric window not working (can hear the click in the back but no movement), and i need to replace electric wing mirror joystick on driver door panel. I have been quoted £100 for electric window regulator, £30 for wing mirror adjuster and £75p/hr labour. U guys think this sounds pretty standard costing as i was bit surprise, esp by cost to fix electric window !! My car i 98S reg so some parts may be getting bit old now and needless to say i'm outside warranty.
Many thanks

think it sounds about right
If you got some DIY skills then you could save a packet and not pay the £75 per hour labour charges and just buy the parts.
Where do you live?

live in Cheshire,
my uncle owns his own garage so could buy the parts and see if he could help me out in exchange for bottle of whiskey or something, just not sure how complex the electrical side of things is going to be and don't want someone to work on it that doesn't know what they're doing who could make matters worse?
