evening all,
right over to the weekend i odered a new rear brake caliper from carbrakecalipers.co.uk,came in at a total of £85
cheapest i have seen one on the net etc so i thought bargin.
today i have had a few missed calls from a number, turns out it the company trying to get hold of me,so anyway the chap left a message basicly saying,
"mr brice
your caliper has been dispatch to you today and you should recieve it tommorow,
there seems to be a problem in that our website hasnt applied a surcharge witch we apply to all orders, when we recieve your old caliper "exchange service" we would normally refund you the surcharge but seeing as this hasnt happened can you please keep you caliper and call me in the morning to discuss returning it"!
now whatwould you do??? to be honest ill prob end up sending it back,
its not all the time i get a company saying they f**ked up

They sound a decent lot. Took the time to call you. Caliper surcharge is the norm.
Be honest. You may need to use them again in the future.
Plus, they may have you by the short and curlies in their T&C's regardless of their on-line ballsup.

Send it back, they're not worth a lot.

Used a similar service before, same dealio, they send you an aftermarket caliper you send them your old ones they refund you. I kept forgetting to send the old ones back, so never got my refund but will sell them on ebay eventually.
