ouchh, get well soon mate, i do agree with toby though, take it off the road untill you get back on your feet then stick it back on the road, unless you were wanting a new car anyway, no point selling what you have now to buy something pretty simelar in 4 months.

I don't understand.  You can't drive for 4 months - why sell your car (I presume)?

Won't you have to buy another one in 4 months time?

Need more context please.

originally snapped my achilles playing football mid sept. after doing as I was told by the docs, six weeks in plaster six in a support boot, snapped again while walking up stairs late dec. had an op last tuesday to repair which means another 12 weeks in plaster/boot. i'm going to go fooking nuts if i'm unable to drive for another 4 months so an auto is on the cards which means the gof has to go.

trust me, the golf has been my favourate car of all and I wouldn't be selling if I didn't have to.

Ah.  Sorry to hear that.  Must be painful.  Get well soon.

On the plus side, potential buyers are now alert to you being desperate to sell.

So it's not all bad news.

Can't you drill a hole in each end and cable tie it back together?

Indeed, never take part in physical activities.

No.

Avoid football and the causes of football wherever humanly possible.

Cable tie does sound like the right solution here.

You appear to not understand what constitutes gay talk.

Gay talk involves talking to someone about 11 or so men who you don't know, yet make their failure/success personal to you, or your mate/colleague.

eg

'you didn't do so well at the weekend, you got a right kicking'
'yeah not nearly as bad as you, you got raped'.

This talk makes no sense and should clearly be the preserve of the delusional.  All the pair of nonces involved in the above hypothetical conversation did was sit in front of the TV, oggling a bunch of men running around.

Now THAT's gay talk.

At least the OP has actually been taking part in sport.

The message is clear: choose a sport that's not going to snap your achillies tendon.

Maybe swimming, or cycling, or motorsport - a proper non-gay sport.

fothermucker that looks nippy. Know people that this has happened to, nasty and weirdly can take longer to heal than a break. If you do get an auto you must remember it's not a go-kart, even if the pedals are the same... Feel better soon dude.
