Title: newbie with first vw :)

hi everyone i've always been a vauxhall guy and after destroying most of them i have decided for a change and now have a mk3 golf :) only a 1.4 but that will soon change in a couple of months ;)
just bought this car for £200 with no tax or test with it only needing 4 new tires for the mot :) so if any one has any cheap tires/steelies/ alloys let me know, its 4 stud by the way.

Any the car already has coilovers all round, gti kit and interior, not a bad place to start i think, anyway heres some pics, let me know your views :)

looking at the gti 8v as im guessing this would be an easier conversion than the 16v? gonna get it road worthy and looking good and then will come the power :D
