Title: Ride Quality
Post by: golfmanj80 on 15 January 2012, 17:52
Just got back from weekend away in the GTD, over 300 miles, M4, A34, Aylesbury, Bedford etc, as you can see on all types of roads and surfaces, with the ACC set to comfort ride still seems a tad hard and choppy [against Mk5 GT140D] on 18" Vancouvers.............would ride be improved if I fitted the standard 17" wheels ? anyone had experience of both on a GTD?

I doubt it would make much difference tbh, not with acc, you might see more of a difference if you had standard suspension. I'd check to see if the transport blocks are still in??

My with 17"  is "floaty light" on comfort versus the GTI on 18" in the same setting if that helps?
