My cab seems to sit with the rear down a bit, is this normal?
I have contemplated replacing the front springs with lowered ones to compensate??
Any suggestions?

Mine sits lower at the back than the front slightly, could pobably do with having a more square on shot of your cab and off the kerb though. I've lowered mine a couple of months ago on a budget lowering kit called streetline from Euro Car Parts and can recommend it and you get a 10% discount if you use ECP in Leeds through Stuart. It has Bilstein shocks and Ventura springs and lowers about 40mm. See pics below of my cab before it was lowered and after it was lowered, you'll probably see that the front does sit slightly higher on both. The first pics aren't great but you can get the idea and it is parked across a hill that's why I did the pics from both sides.

buy coilovers. Then that will solve all your problems.
-
aren't coilovers muchos pounds??
-
Right, thanks for the pics and advice, looking to fit lowered springs all round,

check in any dub mag, and check out venom motorsport. their doing coilovers for about 350-400 squid. still a lot of cash to fork out in one go, but they do adjust from 30mm-120mm.
squat him down low

 Pester away mate, it's cool  I'm running 195/45/15's. I think that's the standard size of the orignal tyres. With lowered suspension and 45 profiles you do feel the bumps a little
Are you thinking of getting the same wheels for yours? I think they would suit your MK1 really well mate
-
well no   but i am looking at getting a set of rims (TSW Catalunia's) but i just cant decide what size to get 15 or 16!  :undecided:
But i think the size of your rims and tyre's  looks spot on!
i was planning to get some ronal turbo's but the company kept me waiting for three months so i bined the idea! oh one more thing   how low is yours? cheers rob
-
it's been lowered 40mm. Only a cheap kit from GSP it's the Boge springs and shocks (well still standard shocks on the front :embarassed:)
I personally think 15s will be the best for your car mate  Got any pics of the TSW Catalunia's? I probably know what they look like, but don't know them by name
