Do mk3 adapters/carriers fit the mk4?
-
not all models. mk4 has better brakes by far.
best get 288mm or later 312mm discs and calipers off v5/v6 model
make sure caliper is complete with carrier though.bolt straight on.

Why not upgrade the pads on the 312mm set up (unless you going bonkers power)

So will this VW Golf brakes (http://www.jdl-brakes.com/vw-golf-mk4.html) - made for Mk4 will fit into Mk3. As far as i understand thaere not many difrences with standard brake. I want to have some fun with my GTI on track, and i need to changed braking pads even without this. I aa thinking that maybe this Alcon brakes would be nice, but maybe You can advice me something more efficient (Shiped from somewhere in EU pls)?
