Must have been scary indeed, but this article really puts the elderly down...
Elderly passengers were crying
"The scenes of panic create disaster. There were people scrambling over each other, elderly people wetting themselves."
-
The quotes about elderly people are facts as reported by people on the ship, it isn't an attack on the elderly.
-
Yes I'm aware of that, but I'm sure there were lots of people with different reports.
-
Have you got a SAGA gold card then Khare?
Perhaps you should right into Points of View to complain about their alleged shoddy reporting.
-
Nah, I'll leave it for Len and Robin to write in, as I might get asked for the membership number

That's why il never go on a cruse!

400m swim apparently. For those who are non/weak swimmers its pretty much impossible without drowning, and for those who are swimmers it's not too bad but 400m in the freezing cold water is a hell of a challenge.

Really? I mean, seriously?
I think you no longer have any justification to pull people up any longer.

Good spot Alex. Brownie Points to you.
In my defence, I have been drinking all day.

why the big panic if that waters not that deep, not like it sunk very far.
-
titanic was in the middle of a very cold north sea, hundreds of miles from any shore, minue degree temperatures...
this was 400m from a shore in the Mediterranean
one thing about this though, is blame culture, somebody is always to blame for something nowadays, nothing is ever an accident, its not like the captain done this delibrately
