Title: mk3 golf estate heater controls only works on setting 4 ?

Hi all the heater in my mk3 estate only works on setting 4 and not on settings 1, 2, 3. Any one had this problem before ?

Heater resistor passenger footwell on the heater motor mate if Iirc just needs replacing
