What will I need to put a 2ltr abf in a mk2 Jetta?
Cheers

1. An ABF engine.
2. A VW Jetta.

-
3. Engine hoist.
-
4. ABF engine loom.
-

Right. What have you got as a donor? Just the engine block, or the whole ABF car?
If so, then if you have a look again in the MK2 Section.

Should help you out.

Cheers for the link, haven't got a abf yet, would you recommend getting a donor car?
-
When was your Jetta built? Is it 1990-1992. Iirc they're 1G types.
Then just get a Mk3 or similar. All depends on your budget and availability.
Simples.
Jetta = Golf with a boot.

It's a 1989 Jetta
So try a find a mk3 abf thats rotted out but has a good engine for cheapish?
-
Better to buy donor as yo can then rip out any random parts you'll need (which you will need, simple parts that you would then have to go out and source yourself and make the job a PITA). When you're done, chuck the old engine as well as any remaining crap in the golf and weigh it in.
