Title: Back to standard wipers from single wiper conversion

Hi All. I have a single wiper conversion on the mk2 (89 small bumper) and I want to convert it back to standard. Are all Mk2 wiper mechanisms the same? There's loads on ebay for around £30, they don't all appear to be the same but that could just be the picture angles, any advice on this matter would be most welcome.  :smiley:

No they are not all the same...

Is yours a CE2 or CE1 car (Hazard is it on the steering column or on the dash?)...

I've done this and there's about three different ones. The really early cars had the left hand driver one and 90 spec cars had one that looks like the mark 3 one which is a self contained assemply. The one you need one of the arms is only connected at one end.

Thats the 3 versions I was thinking about....

The early Left Hand sweep.

Later (Pre 90 (88+)) spec that has smaller wiper boss & 10mm nuts and the

Post 90 Spec (Post 89) that has the larger boss and 13mm nuts...

Thanks chaps, this is a late small bumper with the hazards on the dash. So I'd better be very careful it seems......?  :smiley:
