Title: Lacquer on polished surface
Post by: CM690 on 12 January 2012, 22:44
I'm polishing the lip on my wheels and there is a noticeable line where the paint stops from the center spokes to the bare aluminum that has been polished. Am I able to lacquer over the polish to build up a layer so that you can't see/feel the transition from bare metal to paint layer or would the lacquer react with the polish? :undecided:

Thanks guys!

Ipa will help remove any residue before spraying, the thing with lacquer on polished alloy is it won't last, it will lift/bubble eventually.
