Title: 5 min Minimix..... Radio 1 styley..... just completed :-)
Post by: Rich-E on 12 January 2012, 20:21: Hi guys, i thought i'd share this moment of inspiration with you all :grin:

Last night i finished putting together a Radio 1 Annie Mac style Minimix of music which i grew up listening to and have great memories attached to also. It was created on Ableton and took just over 10 hours to create. Have a listen and please feel free to leave feedback as i plan to make another soon using tunes i couldn't squeeze into this one.

31 tracks..... 5 minutes..... 1 awesome trip down memory lane!

I do plan to do more, definately up for the idea of messing around with different genres. Triple drops quad drops the lot, Ableton is perfect for this. I'll upload this mix as a file when i get the chance so you can d/l it if you want.

I used to work for Kiss 100 and have forwarded this on to a mate who heads up their production dept. They're always on the lookout for stuff like this. :)

Wow... what a nice chap indeed. Thanks Macca and yeah i did run out of creative mojo juice towards then end, i felt the tunes at the end deserved their own 30 seconds :wink:

I found an excuse and swiftly left the room :grin: Besides there are only so many hours in the day and my boss prefers their other station, JackFM Oxford and moaned this morning because I had di.fm's Harddance stream thumping in the office first thing :grin:
