i hav 1.8 mk3 golf and i was thinkin of cangin the cylinderhead for a 8v gti head so i can hav mulitly point injecion but not shur on what i wud need to that can any 1 help.
-
Not as simple as that, so much needs changing that it is not really worth doing.
-
Buying an 8v and transferring the bits you like off your current car would probably work out cheaper nowadays than messing with all that and if your trying to go faster without informing your insurance company of the mods it's not a good idea :lipsrsealed:

im on a tight budjet thats the problem so am thinkin engin conversion mite work ou cheper and i notify all me mods on my insurance nt werf takin the risk nowadays m8
-
If you wanna do a conversion but keep your shell, buy a rotted out 8v GTI, you will get one for £200 guaranteed. Use all parts you need, then sell as much as you can to make some money back, and weigh the chassis in for scrap. Simple, and it will probably cost u nothing other than insurance hike with what you make back.

Makes more sense in the long run to just buy a GTI
