gotta get a new rear wiper though, didn't come with one

other than the wiper issue.....100800 miles on the clock and the engine is sound and runs sweet as a nut. All for £3000

Where would be the best place for bits and bobs for it? for example badgeless grilles and the like
Also the sill protectors and lower bumper bits, are there standard body coloured ones from VW hat i can replace the black ones with?

Nice looking car mate.
Try ebay for the bits you are after

Aww dude.... you is about to experiance the ride of your life mate!
I love my VR6 full stop!
One word of warning to you if your used to Golf's handleing....
I had a 2.0 GTI before my VR and it was wikkid round the series of fast tight bends with lots of heavy braking/power squirt zones.... Dont try it in your VR6 till your used to the way the VR6 handles.
The VR6 engine is bloody heavy and it leans forward in the bay (as to the GTI leaning back)
This weight's the front end on heavybraking making the rear Really light, belive me it'll give you willies the first few times it happens and if you not back on the throttle asap it will drift well outta line if your travelling at speed. (you will be) I've tryed cure it but the best way to stop it is to put your foot down again, some times this really dont seem the right thing to do... but....
Have fun.
