Title: Had to get recovered tonight!
Post by: Dave_IOW on 09 January 2012, 22:46
Oil pressure light came on tonight, turned ignition off and back on again, came back on straight away.

Thought my leaky rocker cover gasket was the culprit, so went and bought 5 litres to fill up and get me home, ready to fit new gasket at the weekend.

As i was filling up from up top, my feet were getting wet, was going in as fast as it was coming out the hole in sump lol!

£20 quids worth of new oil, all down the side of the road, nice one.

Consequently on the lookout for an AGU compatible sump

You aren't having much luck lately are you... Now do you think that drop outside parents place was from the sump lol

you tried Dan yet? I think you can use an AUM sump as long as you leave the level sender in the bottom

Hard to guess really, arch - tyre gap is about 10mm i suppose?

Lowered 40mm maybe? First thought about 60mm but after thinking about that, i dont think its anywhere near that..

Not if they leave the sensor in there lol

I believe it's only minor this time so it can be repaired. Steve agreed he's down more than 40mm, more like 60mm+

I'll have a measure up when I see him next
