Anybody tried it? Much work? As there's lots of hydro mk3 pedal boxes about, was thinking of modding one to fit my valver for when I do a G60 conversion.

passat one is easyer iirc
mk3 will go you need to adjust it tho and iirc the foot well needs kissing with a hammer

Iv'e done a vr6 conversion on my mk2 and the hydro pedal box I used was from a Corrado VR6. Over on the mk2vr6 forum it's always recommended to use a Corrado pedal rather than Mk3 Golf. The Mk3 pedal box needs to be modified quite a bit to get the pedals in the right place. The Corrado pedal box requires you to cut, move and weld the top bracket over by about 15mm. With all hydro pedal boxes you have to panel beat the firewall so it is flat and cut a hole 25mm ish where the master cylinder is located. Also make sure you use the correct master cylinder for whichever pedalbox you fit because the shafts are different lengths. Good luck!
