bit more info on it

http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=98752.0

clocks can be found on ebay, forums or breakers, anything from £20-£200 for the R32 clocks. Just got to make sure you get the right style of clocks either IMMO2 or IMMO3

That would be awesome man. Do I just need the clock and new arm with computer controls on? I think mine is an immo2. I really want the outside temperature to work on the screen too, I've read I need the thermometer and some wiring?
Sorry to be a noob! Ha
Title: Re: speedo
Post by: chrisr103 on 07 January 2012, 19:29
You will need the multi function stalk & the temp sensor from behind the front lower passenger grill,
If yours is immo2 then you can get either immo2 or immo3 clocks for it (Immo3 VDO ones are better as they can have miles to empty activated)
Title: Re: speedo
Post by: xtetx on 07 January 2012, 19:58
That's mint. Seen a bora sport immo3 on eBay. Just checking if it's made by VDO.
I'm guessing I can get the temp sensor and stalk from vw?
:)

Bora sport ones are VDO

Title: Re: speedo
Post by: chrisr103 on 07 January 2012, 20:45
Never fitted the stalk before but there is a guide somewhere,

As for fitting & coding the clocks then ill do them & activate miles to empty & illuminated needles for £20
