Title: Handbrake light at side of radio on dash help please...
Post by: walchy01 on 04 January 2012, 16:38
Hi all

I was having a look behind the handbrake light today hoping that i just needed a bulb, upon getting the switch out there was no electrical connector connected to the switch

Has anyone had this before? is it in there hiding? is it easy enough to reconnect with another wire and switch if need be?

Any help much appreciated as usual..

Thanks

Russ

It will be hiding in there somewhere as its all part of the loom that comes up to the switches... Take the whole panel out it's only 5 screws and have a route around...

UNLESS some pillock has cut it off....

6 screws actually - 2 above the clocks, 1 above the radio, 1 behind the heater panel, 1 behind the bottom right switch blank & last one is behind the headlight switch....

Always worth it - to make stuff be as it should....
