Whilst I still had the GTi I bought a set of Monza alloys and put a set of Hankook Icebears on them in readiness for winter , I couldn't resist putting them on my S3 at the weekend just to see how they looked, I plan to sell them when I get around to it but in the meantime I get to enjoy my favourite wheels for a little longer :)
Can't help but think the shadow version would look so much better with the black paintwork, excuse the poor quality photos as they were taken in a rush, thoughts ?...

Decided to sell these, can come as a winter set with the winter rubber or can put a set of Conti Contact 3 sport on them. Both sets of tyres are 225/40/18 and both are min 7mm all round as only done 1500 - 2000 miles.
I have been offerred a new set of rims for the S3 but need to sell these first, that or face divorce, removal of priviliges at the very least
Drop me a pm if interested and will post a proper ad in classified :)

Well the snow has well and truly come and have to say I'm pleased that I am so lazy and never got around to advertising these properly, they are truly amazing in the snow and ice and have to admit to feeling just a little smug
I have a set on the wifes BMW 320D and couldn't resist taking her car for a run this morning too, a little more initial spin than the quattro but still unstoppable, all I need now is some more ride height for extra ground clearance.
If you get chance to run a second set of alloys for the winter you must get some winter tyres :smug:
Here's some pics...

In the past they used to refer to the A3 as a Golf in a posh suit but since the introduction of the mark 6 I think the boundaries are seriously blurred with the mk6 offering more than a match in many areas, the main thing I miss about my Mk6 is economy, the quattro is pretty greedy in comparison.
Glad some of you like the pics, yesterday was beautiful, today its slushy and yuk
