Title: R-tech is my car ready?
Post by: ReadieeVTS on 02 January 2012, 22:21
Hi Guys, Ive got a mk4 1.8t with a agu engine....

Im looking to get a remap with r-tech as ive seen alot of members on here happy with there car after being mapped ;)
Im just wondering if my car would be more or less ready for a remap in which id like to see over 210bhp
Ive got the following mods:

Forge Recirc DV not sure if its a 007p??
K03s turbo
Viper performance silicon TIP
non Resonated Milltek exhaust

Im still running the stock SMIC, upto how much bhp are these okay with and what spec map from r tech would see me over 200bhp?

cheers Lee

Also how can i verify what DV i have? & will I see more gains if I was to decat it for when it goes into mapping? I just dont want it to rape fuel when I do drive it easy...

Stock SMIC will soon suffer from a LOT of heatsoak.
