how to make the doors of the Golf-Mk2 Open to UPWARDS????
anyone have any ideas??!

i think everyone at the show took pics of the mechanism that day :grin:

alot of work. you will need to cut the wings too. fitted and supplied are like 1k or something i was told :shocked:

Think you have to lengthen the wires to the door too.

They do look cool but after looking at them and the trouble you have to go to on fitting would probably put you off

I know for a fact if i had em i'd open em in an underground carpark and WHACK!!! AARRGGHHHHH!  :cry:

Plus you cant guarage your car, unless you have a garage with a very high ceiling

you can actually open them like regular doors aswell, trust me i fiddled a lot! :grin:

lambo doors look sh!t and there's hardly any room to get in and out from the looks of the pictures.
why mess with the perfect golf ;)
