I thought the fireworks were great.  Yeah they're expensive, but they're free for everyone to watch, and are a lovely way to see in the new year.  Great effects and well choreographed to the music.  Pisses on most other countries to be honest.

You sir, are a reasonable and fair man, you must replace all judges and jury's in the land with haste!

Yeah was bad ass, but f**k me did I pay for it, Next year I'll remember to book in advance!

And with regards to how much it cost the figure is approx £5m which I believe is recouped and then some by the tourists spending. You couldn't move in central London, shops where flat out, had I queue to buy a bottle of water for 20 mins in one shop, 8 tills constantly ringing! Bars and resteraunts were full an hotels stacked out! Makes me laugh when people say it cOuld have been spent on old people or families, £5m.... Wouldn't touch the fcuking sides.

I'm irrational and over the top  would like to be supreme judge though, I'd be a lot less lenient to those found guilty of real crimes
and more lenient to motorists

yes we can seeing as give hundreds of millions to "3rd world" countrys and god knows how many billions to the french.

I thought it was an excellent display  The people who moaned about it should stick their heads back in the Daily Mail and moan about Clarkson or Jonathan Woss

I always assumed they were sponsored, are they not?

Thought it was great anyway, would love to be there one year but don't fancy hanging round for 8 hours like those Chinese kids they interviewed at the front!
