Right I'm after a monitor for the study to use with my MacBook. Needs to be widescreen and 18.5 inch +
Don't really want to spend a great deal if I'm honest, any bargains out there? What should I be looking for?
-
High def tv. Its what I use as monitors
-
tv's are much more expensive though. I just got my lad a samsung 21" widescreen monitor for xmas for about £100 at ebuyer (and I'm sure the 19" was a bit cheaper)
-
I tend to stick to Samsung as well, their monitors are excellent. I've got an old 22" widescreen monitor. Only has a res of 1680*1050, but I only have mid range graphics cards so they complement each other nicely.

+1
That Asus is more than I wanted to pay, won't be used a great deal only when I'm studying. Anything bigger wont fit on the desk.

I have been using a dell 2405fpw since 2006 and it has been brilliant. I have it connected to a
Mac pro and is brilliant for graphic design and gaming.

I forgot we had a 'spare' 23inch flat screen TV laying around. It's now my monitor, until it's reclaimed. Just need a keyboard now so I can keep the Macbook closed when I'm on the big screen.
Ta anyway people!

You need to speak to Chris, he does not always have them in stock but gets them regularly/to order.
We bought a 50" plasma off him for work and I nearly had one off him for home but I could not get my cable tv to work properly although the computer was excellent. they sell in the region of £150 + delivery if you are not local

takes me back to 1987 when my brother had his 8088 clone!

We were having a giggle at that one, my boss was tempted to buy one for the hell of it  It would still work well with our unix boxes and make them feel more archaic
