Title: dead engine

my wifes 16v F reg coughed the other night and would not start at all the morning after, there is a spark at the plugs ( not super great though) and fuel weeps from the unit on the air filter when I crack the union-- any ideas.

Might be worth checking the ignition system. Any more details you could give us?

hi ya i had a similar problem myself on my 16 valve just two days ago.

Check my posting HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that should give you some ideas.

My problem turned out to be my air flow meter had messed up. got a new one and hey presto shes back on da road.

Hope it isnt a big as problem as mine.
