Post by: GolfDan on 31 December 2011, 09:19
I got meself a Macbook in December and want to put all my music from my iPhone on it, can I use software like I have done in the past on a Windows PC or is there a trick way of doing it for a Mac?

you can't transfer music from the phone to the computer because if that's the case we could all go around sharing our music collections with each other for free

you would need third party software.

Apple, always doing things arse about face

If you have your old PC/Laptop you can do this to preserve your library:

heres a hint...back up the intunes library on an external drive...then you can move the music around the house to the different machines or even a friends...also isn't as limiting as machine harddrive in terms of space... plenty of reasonable 1.5TB drives out there now
