Well if it was a 1.8t with lots of work maybe, I struggle to see an ABF making that power even with the work / mods carried out.

i know someone that had a mk4 running 1.8t quattro and including buying the car he done it all 450bhp for under 7k :lipsrsealed: only problem with my mates car was the head and that hasn't had anything done to that head either so only a matter of time before POP

Its a lovely car and you cant blame the guy for trying his luck,it more than likely owes him alot more than that.I agree its alot of money but you never know you do get people after a certian kinda car and if they want it they will pay the money.

11k ...yeh right, somone should tell the bloke he will have better luck either stripping it or putting as much back to standard as poss,
-
I like it. 11k isn't what somebody would pay, but is worth it when you take in consideration the work that's been done.
The rear brake set up is £1000 by its self!

He would be better of stripping it and selling the parts.

Put it back to standard, sell it then sell all the ££ parts

^ I love this sentiment...
The parts are not the whole sum of what he has paid for the work to be carried out...he mentions the companies that have worked on it as a point to prove that the car owes him the region of £11k. Unless you can do the work yourself, putting the car back to standard will cost...and that adds up again...not everyone is a B&Q modder.
On a side note...paint the inner black on those rims and it will be a whole lot better
