Title: sony vaio battery

iv got a sony vaio VGN-NR32L  the battery has gone on it will any sony vaio bat fit and work or does it need to be the same one (VGP-BPS9/B   11.1V 4800mAh) ??

Needs to be out of the same or similar model. Sony should have a accessories page to find out which will work and give you a part number which you can then use else where (ebay/Google Shopping etc) to find it cheaper. Be warned though, some cheap batteries are dangerous and can overheat and explode in rare circumstances, I'd suggest getting a Sony branded battery, not a cheap knock off.

thanks al have a look, iv been using it being pluged in for the past few years but does my head in having to find a socket to sit near all the time.
