Title: Climate control
Post by: scarr89 on 30 December 2011, 18:39
My mate is breaking his golf which has the climate control 'panel' in it, my question is what work would be required to be able to install that into mine which just has standard AC?

It would be coming from a petrol to a diesel if that makes any difference?

Chaars

I remember this topic coming up AGES ago, and the general consensus was that it was cheaper to buy a car with it already installed, than converting yours to accomodate it! :undecided:

Can be done but really not worth the hassle big job and the climate units are unreliable

It is, you need to change lots, not worth the hassle or work.
