Title: indicator lights stay on

i have just recently bought a mk4 golf and i reaslised after useing the indicators once it was fine then when i went to do it again it just stayed on and wasnt flashing and no noise to show it is,, what could this be, also temp gauge doesnt work what could cause this???

The relay has gone its built into the hazard switch so you need to replace it  :wink:

As for the Temp gauge the sender may have failed http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=88088.0  Check the wiring first though  :smiley:
