According to VW Driver mag they do a 1.4 TSI 122PS, at 1.4 TSI 160PS, 1.6 TDI 105PS and a 2.0 TDI 140PS, with S, SE and Sport trim. (not all combinations tho'.

Ha bum will have to go 2.0 TDI then will see what Darkside can do to the engine once they get there new CR software.

interesting, downunder we get the 103TDI, 118TSI and the 147TSI, but only as a Highline with DSG only

Different countries have different specs. The Yanks for example get the Jetta GLI which is basically a GTI sedan which has the 2.0T engine.

The front bumper looks pretty cool on that ^^^
Nobody bought the 2.0tfsi old Jetta (mk5 Golf based) and it depreciated like a stone. I think apart from my Dad nobody bought a brand new Jetta privately and even he bought a 1.6tdi. Hence nearly all Jettas are company or lease cars and thus Diesel.
A Passat isn't that much bigger than a Jetta anyway, but with either car I'd only ever consider a Diesel model as you'd never get any money back on a petrol 2.0
Kill two birds with one stone Darren and get a Caddy Maxi thingy with seven seats. They can look really good with a few tasty retro-fits

Need the Caddy lined and shelfed mate so cannot go maxi, I might just go GTD to be honest the wife likes our current Golf V so it wouldn't be much of a change but just gonna wait till the mk7 comes out and see what the prices go like and get the Caddy first.
One other thing is the Touran and Caddy still on the same body i.e is the headlights and bumper still the same? would like to put Xenons on and I presume the Caddy is not an option??
