Title: boot light

does anyone know what voltage is going from this cos i want to put some neons in the boot so that when i open it up they come on

or does anyone know how i can do this off the 12v cig lighter in the boot

Basic rule is don't run anything through the socket in the boot that uses over 12v, otherwise you'll fry the cable and maybe start a fire! I expect the light is running off the same feed as for the boot socket and the tail lights, though don't quote me on that.

Ive got two small (12") neons running off the boot light, mines fine, although i havent found the right place to mount them yet  :undecided:

Same here mate, i was gonna put them under the 2 black plastic bits that support the back self, but the 2 little side doors that are the access to the light bulbs get in the way  :undecided:
