Title: boot light
Post by: Dis00 on 12 May 2005, 17:21: does anyone know what voltage is going from this cos i want to put some neons in the boot so that when i open it up they come on

or does anyone know how i can do this off the 12v cig lighter in the boot

Post by: W36 EJO on 12 May 2005, 20:28: Basic rule is don't run anything through the socket in the boot that uses over 12v, otherwise you'll fry the cable and maybe start a fire! I expect the light is running off the same feed as for the boot socket and the tail lights, though don't quote me on that.

Same here mate, i was gonna put them under the 2 black plastic bits that support the back self, but the 2 little side doors that are the access to the light bulbs get in the way :undecided:
