  :undecided: hi peeps just wondering if anyone can tell me if theres a way of finding out if my mk4 1.8t has been remapped with no proof from previous owner. Also this is my first turbo car so wouldnt no what a standard one goes like, however it is very very quick :smiley: just curious thats all

get it on a rolling road is really going to be the only way to find out mate  :wink: or as above lol  :laugh:

well thats the ovious one lol if you boost over 8psi its remaped

Lol maybe it is obvious but im new to all this turbo stuff :) never had a turbo do never learnt it really i know a little about cars but not turbos and remaps. However i will invest in a boostgauge thank u.

if you know someone with VAG COM you can see what the g/s readings are on a full throttle 3rd gear run, that will give you a clue
