So Christmas is over and I've still got money to spend  can either put it into a car or get a few games... as I'm in it for the long haul and waiting/saving to get a car I'm leaning towards games... and it's not a lot of money.
Looking at getting 2 more games, I think Skyrim is going to be one of them and Saints row the third is going to be the other. Both look really good, I loved GTA so think I'll love Saints Row, the character customization looks unreal and getting to drive some of those cars and use peds as cannon balls is going to be fun. I also loved those sort of games like Skyrim when I was younger and it looks absolutely ace!
Any other games I should consider? Forza 4 isn't appealing to me, I hardly touched Forza 3
Also just ordered a 120Gb hard drive to shut the wife up so she has space for sims3 pets and I have space for all my games and get BF3 HD content loaded

Assassins Creed Revelations? May seem a bit random if you haven't played the others though
-
neh, went for SR and Skyrim now
-
Saints Row is awesome Jay. I've had a lot of fun with it and still am.
-
I've been watching lots of SR videos on youtube and want it NOW! Should be here by Saturday  It looks like a GTA killer, with added cheesyness  I want a game I can pick up anytime and just have fun for a few mins like I did on GTA.
-
 That's what Saints Row is then. Its fun you can just pick up and play. Wouldn't say it's a GTA killer as they are very different, GTA is more realistic to a certain degree, Saints Row is out and out fun and randomness.

Great series of games - Revelations is on the money.

Got woke this morning by the wife holding two brown packages addressed to me  f@rking quick delivery from Play.com and the ebay seller (both new & Sealed). Loving SR so far, done the first few missions you have to do and been running around doing my own sh!t since, took a call to help someone and ended up in a huge gun fight with the green gang
Will give Skyrim a go when the kids are in bed.

You'll start playing skyrim and before you know it it will be 4am :lipsrsealed:

Lizzie got me Space Marine for Chrimbo and fully loving it at the moment. If you like 3rd person shooters like Gears of War it's well worth a go and should be pretty easy to pick up in the used section as it's been out for a month or two.

Looks good that does, I used to have Space Hulk which is made by the same people just with a different story line iirc?

If you like skyrim you may enjoy dragon age as an idea.
With Skyrim there should be a warning saying it is very addictive you will find out when you have put the controller down that your wife has left you, you have not been at work for so long and have been dismissed and your house is being repossessed due to lack of funds
With assassins creed revelations I wouldn't bother, all on the Second game and story line are good, but with 3 games making assassins creed 2 in essence it gets somewhat repetitive even when doing the extra missions like finding all the symbols and solving the pain in ass puzzles. I think AC:2 and AC:2-Brotherhood where very good, AC:2-Revelations felt to much same ol same ol. However one thing I will give revelations credit for is a few missions really fealy cinematic gameplay wise which I was impressed by, such as when you are chasing the templars in the boat and they are firing at you, when the arsenal is in flames etc...
Forza 4 was somewhat of a let down to 3 for me in sameways :lipsrsealed:
Bioshock one is good, bit old but a very good game
Maybe a jetfighter game? Ace combat and Hawx are fun but to arcadey, a good game on xbox is Over-G, ignore the reviews its one of the best air combat games there despite once again its age, just make sure you change controller settings as the game developers decided to use a retarded controller setup as default where you can't yaw the aircraft and it feels like you are playing that SNES game with the Fox. But you do setup planes properly in terms of missiles, how much fuel onboard, enabling landing gear/hook etc...

lol space hulk is so old, I played this to death on PS1
If you like WH40k then this is an awesome game, Jump packs + chain swords/Axes/Hammers adds so much extra dimension.
Campaign mode is pretty easy but fun and good training for on line where it gets pretty hectic.
As with all on line games there are so many laggy Dell laptops and Xbox's on dial up
I have not touched COD/MW3 or Battlefield in weeks

Just started playing Arkham city and it's fabulous. I thought Arkham asylum was excellent and it was one of the few games I have felt the urge to complete. AC is even better and I've only completed 2% so far. Well worth buying
-
arkham city is mint, asylum was awesome but city is soooo good! Even if you arent a Batman fan or comic book fan they are just really brilliant games regardless
-
Dark Souls.... Apparently one of the most unforgiving, punishing titles out there.
It's on my rental list from Lovefilm; I'm secretly looking forward to it (once I've returned the amazing Portal 2)

My mate at work has done 40+ hours on Dark Souls and says it's proper awesome.

Loving Skyrim , haven't played Saints Row since I started Skyrim :undecided:
Dragons are pish easy to kill now, double axe carnage FTW and 95% Frost resistance is great against the Front dragons
Love killing them this way

Now I'm able to decapitate people with my axe, I'm hoping it'll work on Dragons

Want a character like this bloke
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9bszkL06dw&feature=plcp&context=C37a9e95UDOEgsToPDskI5ns7S8lbtmBKbx_SNE6mU
check out his damage on his bow and the dagger 1 shot dragon kills
-
Nice  Even at level 18 with dual wielding Skyforge axes I was able to kill the Shearpoint Dragon without any problems, it was the dead dude that woke up when I went to see what the dragon was sleeping on top of that almost got me, before I ran away from 1 shot fireballs he was dishing out
