ive been on all day building my first ever boot install
dont the main bits of wood has anyone got any ideas of how to build the supporting frames to go behind

build supports that go out to the sides?

finished for today got all the wood in my neon sorted hopefully wont look stupid when it all done

make sure its well supported cos the wood flexes and squeeks.....

Looking good........how do you get to spare wheel or change a knackered bulb??? :undecided:

ive designed it so it can be dismatled in seconds and its in 3 parts so shouldnt cause any problems

that should look alright once done..
seeing as its mdf you do know the dust is bad for your lungs when cutting it!
you may already know that..... just a reminder!

no i didnt know that i did it outside so hopefully havent took in to much although i have got a bad stomach today

just a voice of dissapointment here even tho its looking good, all that space you could have easily got a couple of subs in there :sad:

i see your point the only reason why i havent put more in yet is im using the stuff from my last car until i get some cash behind me then ill add some more to it but im not sure what make to go for

oh right my mistake...btw with all that bass whats holding the mdf down?
ive got ideas but they can be quite expensive but i went down audiobahn route and was well impressed and before that i had the alpine r-type series that was quality aswell can get the stuff quite cheap now

ive chnaged the layout slightly today as i hadnt built a box for the sub so now ive put one in and had to change it slightly
i went into local shop today for some odd bits and had a listen to one of the shop workers systems it has the alpine s throughout and the v12 amps sounded well nice.
what prices can you get??
