Post by: bonny on 23 December 2011, 18:29
Hey guys, just got a message on my display saying 'Alternator Workshop' there is a whining noise from under the bonnet that's only just started!!! Not the best time for it to appear when all the shops will be closing for xmas
Will i need a new one or is there a bearing or something i could replace??
Its a 02 mk4 1.9 TDi 130
Cheers

Voltage to alternator maybe ok on exciter wire but what about voltage it's producing?
