Title: Bonnet Catch - part updated

After knackerin my bonnet catch, i managed, in the end to take the front of my car off to find that the old catch (part no. 1J0823509 C/D) has been updated to an E version  :rolleyes:, got one ordered at the cost of 38 squids, will fit on Thursday and let you know if its worth doing if your currently having issues with your catch!

Ive lost the pin through the pull bit and currently have a hairpin through it  :rolleyes:

Well, all fitted and working.  Cant see any obvious difference in the new part.  Got it lubed up so hopefully wont have anymore issues.

Nice and easy to fit however u need to take the bumper off and if you have washer jets your likely to break them if you dont do it properly (like i did  :cry:)

Ended up puttin a small self tapper thru mine  :grin:
