1st stop would be clean throttle body mine used to drop revs at traffic lights and stall had throttle body cleaned cost me £10 at garage but can be done easily yourself, was fine after that

Just had the same issue with mine, got all the hoses replaced, throttle body cleaned - still kept running rich and idling poorly and occasionally cutting out. AA guy found out the Air flow meter was knackered and Lambda sensor needed replaced - running great now. Hope yours is sorted without going through the cost I have.
