Post by: kane1210 on 21 December 2011, 19:43
Well after nearly 6 months obsessing and a few hundred times on the the vw config app on my phone, i put down a deposit on a 5 door dsg Ed35 with 19's & nav in tornado red............................

Super psyked!!

Only had the Scirocco a year so losing a nice chunk on that .......but got a good reduction off the price so no brainer really......

Sounds like a Looker to me
I had 19s on mine and did not notice much difference in the ride to the 18s, maybe a bit more road noise  ENJOY

Cool beans mate! agree about the 19's though, your Roc would've had acc which would make quite a difference?

Yea had acc as standard and was only really noticeable when hammering round corners , driving day to day 19s where fine for me on comfort or sport . Horses for courses I spose.

Youre gonna love it! Mine got its winter detail today. Gonna be spending hours on M6 over the weekend so got a nice thick layer of polish on it!

megs quick spray wax is great for in between 'proper' polish/waxes. ideal for over the winter. can do the whole car in about 15 mins and comes up great and seems to protect - water beads up nice anyway.

You're right mate it's some nice kit but as you also say its good for I between proper waxing. If I had a new white car in December, I'd stick 3 layers of Dodo Juice Diamond white and admire the beading for months to come.

Dodo is great stuff mate, they do waxes for all colours. Supernatural can be used on any colour car.

In theory colour specific versions can all be used on any colour car but I'd stick to the one designed for your colour car.  So a black car would have Dodo Purple Haze, apparently the smell is amazing...
