no matter how 'soft' your dog is its still a dog... I can't help thinking that having a baby in a dogs basket playing with the dogs toys (the dogs toys... not the babys) is kinda a bad idea and asking for trouble... and who'll get the blame.. the dog of course!

+1 from horrific experience, our little lady fell on our sleeping dog and got bitten on her face, A&E, surgery, scars and a guilt that will never leave.

Oooh 10 points to you sir, most people say she's a greyhound (these people have clearly never seen a greyhound close up, she's only 25 inch and is dwarfed by greys!)

The people we homed her from said her mum was a whippet and dad was a salukixgrey which sounds about right. She's certainly got the saluki 'what's in it for me?' attitude when there's something else she'd rather be doing than coming back when called etc

Id go mad without my dogs, sometimes you just need a massive yellow bundle of labrador to flatten you when you walk in the door.

Or laugh at the hilarity of my french bulldogs innapropriately timed farts!

Quality name!

Yeah there are many breeds good with kids but unfortunately we cant have any dogs that could potentially seriously bite our little lady again.

Hence why we have a gaybo frenchie and a gummy old bulldog!

Bronson was decided by me and my Missus cos of a little bastard of a mouse (that we named bronson) that used to live in her flat. No matter what we did he wouldnt die/piss off. Too light for traps, didnt give a f**k about the anti mouse noise maker things and would just run around the living room for no real reason then piss off, I even knocked him out with my samba one afternoon when he was climbing the curtain and just as I opened the window to drop him 5 floors he regained conciousness and lept. One day we finally caught him eating a jammy dodger in a wall mounted cupboard (no idea how he got in!?). We should have killed him but he had been through too much and was a hard little bugger so caught him and let him free in hollyrood park. And thats our Bronson
