Title: 1st Gen iPod nano owners

So even if you have one, sitting in a box, drawer, attic go find it and check. Then flog it on ebay  :grin:

i think i may buy one from ebay and then claim my free new one  :evil:

assuming that the replacement unit is a new one and not another gen1  :undecided:

People have been receiving 6th gen iPod nano's :afro:

Only certain nano's that had batteries from a certain supplier are eligible and that were made from September 2005 till December 2006.

A mate sent his off and got a brand new 1st Gen Nano not a new 6th Gen.

From 5 years back.....Nothing on the Apple site about needing PoP.

It may not say it but my friend did it in the aberdeen store and was asked to provide proof of purchase due to age of the product

Looked through the teams and conditions and you do not need the original receipt. All you need is the Nano itself.

If you have bought it from new it wont be a problem anyways i was simply pointing out he was asked for proof of purchase Im fully aware its not in the T&Cs
