assuming that the replacement unit is a new one and not another gen1 :undecided:

Ah not luck of the draw now-
Apple has now exhausted its reconditioned first gen stockpile and has been forced to begin sending out the latest model.

From 5 years back.....Nothing on the Apple site about needing PoP.

I got one at home which had battery issues, will check it when I get back from holiday.

It may not say it but my friend did it in the aberdeen store and was asked to provide proof of purchase due to age of the product

Looked through the teams and conditions and you do not need the original receipt. All you need is the Nano itself.

If you have bought it from new it wont be a problem anyways i was simply pointing out he was asked for proof of purchase Im fully aware its not in the T&Cs
