As above really.
For me, it's laying foundations for a career change and looking forward to summer, hopefully going abroad for some sunshine for the first time in 4 years!
2012 should be a good one, but then 2011 hasn't been that bad for me

new car and a decent permanent job, wouldn't say no to renting a place for a bit
-
A healthy family, a new car and if all goes to plan and we get these couple of large contracts, an increase would be nice with a promotion. Not too much too ask for.
-
try and save some cash for a house.
Would love a new car but dont think that will happen
And a new job closer to home

I want RWD and no roof :lipsrsealed:

gonna start saving money then after a year or so i will be either be spending a large amount on modding the existing car, building a track car (something along the lines of a mk2 golf with a 1.8t engine or something compleatly striped maybe k04 turbo ect ect ect depending on how far money streches) orrrr if that doesent happen then stick that in a savings acount or something and get saving for a morgage deposit.
-
Another start to the year with no job, happens every bloody year!
No car as with no job I cannot afford to keep it, I'll keep my golf though as I will put that on the road when I've got the money to repair it.
No jobseekers as they say I'm not looking hard enough for a job, wank3rs, have to fill out their bit of paper so I did, on it I applied for four jobs one day, next day another 2 all over 50 miles from where I live as there isn't much work around and I want a job, because they were so far away was told that I wasn't actually looking for work just applying for jobs I know I won't get, ar5eholes.
Another year not being able to see my mum or sister, because my dad won't let them see me and will beat my mum if she does.
and soon I won't be able to pay the rent so I'll be thrown out of where I'm living.
all in all better than this past year :afro:
-
2012 is going to be a MMMAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSIVE year for me.
Our baby is due at the end of January, so I'm going to be a daddy  I finish car payments in March so the mk4 is completely mine, all done and paid for. Probably be moving to a bigger place as well early 2012, need a second bedroom for the little one. Then just carry on saving up a deposit for a house really.
-
Finish uni and get (or make) a job in the industry that I've been studying for the last 4 and a half years.
-
Lots of socks to wear following xmas
-
Big 30 for me in February and I'll be pushing my business in the new year to help pay for go fast bits for the Aldi

If living over there wasn't bad enough eh.
Anyway, yeah same here, lost quite a few people close to me, hopefully next year no one dies, unless I want them to.
-
ha ha no I quite like it over here, good place to bring the kids up. Only thing I would change is the price of the boats to visit the overlands
Only good thing that happened this year was the birth of my youngest
-

Thanks mate, appreciate the comment

Again thanks for the comment, the condition I have is known as "Bronchiectasis", I found out almost a year ago that it is progressive and irreversible although the modern medicines I use are truly amazing and do help a lot. Been almost a year since my last visit to a hospital so it’s chin up and keep on trucking, who knows I may even be back in VW next year
Merry Christmas and a very happy new year to you all
-
Sounds nasty fella  hope you have another hospital free year :afro:
-
Well 2011 has been quite poo so hopefully 2012 will be better.
I hope that my OH manages to get his business off the ground (already looking promising there for january) so we won't have so many money worries and he will be happy and enjoy what he's doing.
I'd like to get all debts paid off (apart from mortgage that isn't going to happen!)
I'd like to maybe start doing a degree or similar to advance my chances of promotion at work ready for when the opportunity comes and generally do well in that area.
Also this is going to be the year we actually do the garden up nice.... honest! (been saying that last two years!)
I wonder what I'll think if we resurrect this thread next Xmas?!
-
