Title: mk5 golf plus heater fan
Post by: danny_p on 20 December 2011, 20:52
interior heater blower is playing up on mothers mk5 golf plus,   it works flat out or not at all.

any common causes for this  i'm guessing theres a resistor pack or pwm drive moduel somewhere thats failed,   or is it built into the motor ?

id rather not take the dash out if dont have to

heater blower resistor, fairly common fault. Not sure where it is on a plus, somewhere under the glovebox at a guess

Separate blower resistor as said Danny is same as golf go up under glovebox and remove the foam held up with two hand twist screws and pull cover down you should see it in not glovebox out (as cant remember on golf plus of top of my head)
