When was it last serviced? Spark plugs in good order?

Was serviced 2 months ago, but fuel filter wasnt done? Have had no problems until this really cold weather has hit in, I work nights so drie to work 8 hours of cold weather makes it very hard to start cranks over fine, the oil can light? Flashes with ignition on and takes a while to go out? Would this be anything to do with it? As soon as it does start and I drive 15 foot it's fine runs as normal?

Might be worth getting the battery tested.

Havnt checked battery, seems to fire over very easy just the actually starting part it doesn't like, when it does idle u can go to rev and it just dies but after 1 min sat on idle all is fine, will check battery and plugs many thanks

changed my battery recently too - car cranked ok, but hard start in the cold and dash would reset due to voltage drop.

Think simple 1st. Fuel filter. Plugs. Ht leads distrubitor cap

How about cleaning the Idle speed control valve and throttle body?
