Title: Gearbox change

Hiya. I need to change the gearbox on my mk3 gti 8v and wondered if anyone had done this without the use of a ramp? Before I started I'd like to know if its gonna be an absolute pig doing it at home!!!

can be done with some axle stands. i did mine outside a friends house once in my mk2 so it should be possible on a mk3
